Como adicionar o ED aos verbos regulares.

Regular Verbs

 

1. when the verb finishes in E we add D à loveD 

Example

2.  finishes in Y

 

Attention to verbs ended in Y

3. one syllable, and finishes in a sandwich (consonant-vowel-consonant) we double the last  consonant and add ED

stop (T - consonant / O - vowel / P - consonant)    ==>   stoPPED

4. more than one syllable but is oxitone and finishes in a sandwich (consonant-vowel-consonant ) we double the last  consonant and add ED

admit --> admiTTED

E.g. PLAY PLAYED STUDY STUDIED WATCH WATCHED Aff. We studied on Monday. Neg. We did not study on Monday. Int. Did we study on Monday?
